The French-language journal on health and territories is an interdisciplinary publication space open to scientific work on the spatial dimension of health and, conversely, on the “health” dimension of territories. The articles published are subject to an evaluation process by anonymous reviewers and to arbitration by the editorial committee composed of recognized scientists in the social sciences of health. The texts are published in French, accompanied by a long summary (800 to 1000 words) in English. The journal contains thematic issues (coordinated by one or more authors) and a “workshops and seminars” section in which conference or meeting day reports can be published with a flexible validation process before publication (simple opinion of the committee editorial).

The objective of this review is to provide a publication space for the French-speaking research community working on spatial health issues. Requiring a long summary in English also corresponds to the objective of offering Francophone works international visibility, but also, why not, of inviting Anglophones to publish in French while being able to promote their publication to their non-French speaking instances. The RFST is also an echo chamber for the work of the health commission of the national committee of French geographers
